Sequoyah Book Club Masterlist

Here you will find the list of the books nominated for this year's Sequoyah Award.  Students must read or have read to them at least 3 books on this list in order to vote for their favorite in April.  Members of our KES Sequoyah Book Club will be reading books from this list.

Caldecott Award Books

The Caldecott Medal is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children published that year. It was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolf Caldecott.  Together with the Newbery Medal, it is the most prestigious American children's book award.
